CamAlarms were pleased to be involved with Project Atria for the new heart and lung research institute situated on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, adjacent to the new Royal Papworth Hospital.
The new unit contains 8,000 sq.m of research space and provides a 10-bed clinical research facility and Education Suite, along with state-of-the-art wet and dry laboratory space.
CamAlarms designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the fire alarm and refuge alarm systems. The fire alarm system comprised of a two panelled network system, with the site installed to category L1.
The refuge alarm system comprised of a main panel located in reception serving seven refuge outstations located on escape stairwell refuge areas.
