Unity Campus (Phase 2)

Working with T Clarke, CamAlarms has been awarded the fire alarm and refuge alarm packages for the 90,000 sq ft Phase 2 of Unity Campus within Cambridge’s expanding life sciences cluster.

Phase 2 of Unity Campus features three new wet laboratory buildings of 32,500 sq ft, 31,000 sq ft and 24,500 sq ft, available for occupation during the summer and autumn of 2023. With sustainability as an underlying principle both during construction and occupation, owner Howard Group is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating for each building.

CamAlarms are delighted to add to our strong track record as a leading fire and security specialist provider in Cambridge and to be delivering both the fire alarm and refuge alarm system elements with our CamAlarms in-house team.

Over recent years, we have completed a series of high specification laboratory, educational and technical projects to help the growth of Cambridge as a world centre for life sciences and are proud to be playing our part in delivering a highly sustainable project.
