Cambridge Arts Theatre one of the region’s leading independent charitable arts venues, has completed a significant phase of redevelopment aimed at elevating the visitor experience and modernising its historic space.
The project included a full reconfiguration of the auditorium seating to optimise sightlines and acoustics, alongside a highspecification refurbishment of the theatre’s public amenities.
As part of the upgrade, CamAlarms Ltd replaced and modernised the existing fire alarm control panel, installed a new control panel and extended detection coverage across the building to achieve full Category L1 protection.
The newly refurbished auditorium now benefits from a state-of-the-art Honeywell aspiration detection system, discreetly integrated within the ceiling structure to maintain the theatre’s architectural character.
These enhancements ensure the Arts Theatre continues to offer a safe, modern, and welcoming environment for audiences.
