The BIG switch off is coming to UK phone and broadband networks

Change is coming to UK phone and broadband with millions of older lines planned to be switched off over the next 3 years to make way for new technology – also known as the big switch off.

Here at CamAlarms, we connect to some of your alarm signalling devices using a phone line, so we’re asking all our customers to get switch off savvy and check their connection.

The BIG switch off – starting earlier than you might think

Millions of homes and businesses in the UK are using connections that will be switched off in phases up to the end of 2025, but starting from earlier than you might think in some areas, so we know that some of the lines connecting us to our customers’ alarms will be affected.

We are committed to working with our customers to smoothly transition their alarms to the new generation of alarm signalling devices.
